At any given time, there are a handful of motivated college students and recent graduates in the D+P internship program. We recently connected with Riley Longenderfer, one of our summer interns, for a quick Q&A session. Read on below to learn more about Riley!
Give us a little bit of background about yourself!
I am a senior at Penn State University majoring in public relations with a minor in sociology. When I am not working, I love traveling, spending time with friends, meeting new people and forming new relationships.
Describe yourself in three words.
I would describe myself as ambitious, adventurous and open-minded.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
Growing up, I wanted to be an FBI agent or work for homeland security because of my love for mystery and crime shows.
What’s something few people knew about you, but you wish they did?
I traveled abroad for a semester during my junior year, and I hope to someday return to Europe after I graduate college and work there for a few years.
If you could give a piece of advice to your high school/younger self, what would it be?
Don’t be afraid to take risks and put yourself out there because nothing is as serious as it seems, and you don’t want to look back on your life with any regrets.
