Devine + Partners (D+P) is seeking an Account Coordinator to join our team. In this entry-level position, you will play an important role on multiple client account teams. Working directly with senior public relations professionals, you will be an essential part of the team creating content, managing social media, working with reporters, and helping to coordinate communications for staff and clients.

D+P serves some of the best-known brands and organizations in the Greater Philadelphia region along with national clients with high-level communications strategies and implementation. To succeed in this fast-paced, hands-on environment, the ideal candidate will be energetic, independent, a self-starter and is able to learn and adapt to new concepts quickly. Every position at D+P requires excellent time management skills, the ability to multitask and a willingness and desire to learn and be a team player. A strong candidate for this position should be prepared to balance a full client load while remaining ready to jump in and lend a hand to colleagues wherever it is needed.

In this position, you will be expected to serve in a traditional public relations role, which includes pitching media, drafting content, conducting research and more. In addition, you will be tasked with creating original social media content (written, graphics and social video as necessary) and campaigns, managing multiple social media platforms and analyzing content to make improvements and chart growth.

D+P operates as a hybrid work environment. Employees are in the office every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, and can work remotely on Tuesdays and Fridays.

Located in Center City, Philadelphia, D+P is a leading, independent communications firm specializing in research-based public relations, content creation, issues management, digital communications, message development and social media. Our client portfolio is diverse and dynamic, and spans sectors that include travel/tourism and hospitality, higher ed, financial, healthcare, nonprofit, consumer goods, and sustainability/environmental.

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Serves in a support role in day-to-day client work, including supporting senior staff in effectively and thoughtfully executing all elements of the communications plan
  • Conducts media outreach and interview coordination
  • Plays an active role in developing social media strategy, developing content, executing strategy and measuring results
  • Monitors and tracks media coverage for recurring client reports
  • Creates recurring client reports on deadline
  • Prepares and updates local, regional and national media lists
  • Assists with research for new business proposals and presentations
  • Drafts press releases, media advisories, blogs and other written client materials
  • Assists in event planning and on-site support
  • Supports senior staff with projects
  • Administrative duties for the office
  • Records and enters time into time-tracking software


  • Bachelor’s degree in public relations, multimedia journalism, or related field
  • One or more PR agency internships a plus
  • Familiarity with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, X (Twitter), Threads, YouTube and TikTok
  • Fluent in social media strategy, execution and analytics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong understanding of the media landscape
  • Outstanding organizational skills and ability to prioritize responsibilities
  • Experience creating short-form video content is recommended, but not required
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud products like Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects, InDesign and Illustrator are a plus
