As summer kicks into high gear, we are taking a moment to highlight our clients’ achievements that have recently made waves in the media. Check out some of our clients’ community collaborations and milestone events featured in 6abc, CBS 3, Philadelphia Business Journal and more below!

Firstrust Bank

Firstrust Bank collaborated with Habitat for Humanity on multiple projects last month. Firstrust employees swapped their office clothes for construction hats to help build a house in Strawberry Mansion for local families in need. Watch the highlights covered by 6abc. Firstrust also donated $25,000 to support the grand opening of the new Habitat for Humanity Restore location in North Philadelphia. Learn more from 6abc.

Gaudenzia

Gaudenzia recently announced the opening of West Mill Place, an affordable housing complex in West Philadelphia. The 30-unit family-friendly and green-housing development will help meet the needs of the community for low-income families and provide a safe haven for people in recovery from substance abuse. Gaudenzia also hosted its first Substance Use Treatment and Recovery Graduation since 2019 in Harrisburg. Thirty-five people were honored at the ceremony. Catch the coverage by WGAL.

The Salvation Army

The Salvation Army Scranton Corps received a $10,000 grant from the 2022 Scranton Area Community Foundation. Hear from Captain Kirsten Childs, The Salvation Army Scranton Corps Officer, about how the organization used the grant to provide food to 38 new individuals and 17 new households in need by watching the coverage from Fox 56.

Reach Cyber Charter School

Reach Cyber Charter School celebrated its class of 2023 with a graduation ceremony at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center in State College honoring 847 students. This story from The Bucks County Herald is one of 25 pieces published throughout the state on Reach Cyber’s graduating class.

Alex Sands, a rising junior at Reach Cyber, was also mentioned in the news for her spot in the Future Business Leaders of America Nationals competition that took place at the end of June. Read more about Alex’s achievement in The Courier Express.

Woods Services

Woods Services is slated to become the parent company of New Jersey’s Bridgeway Behavioral Health Services. Through this affiliation, Woods Services will be able to expand its programs and help more individuals in need of behavioral healthcare. Your Radio Doctor

Your Radio Doctor, hosted by Marianne T. Ritchie, M.D., celebrated the launch of its fourth season and 160+ episodes. Your Radio Doctor is the only health-focused, medical radio show in Greater Philadelphia. In the show, Dr. Ritchie makes challenging medical topics easier to understand and helps listeners make informed decisions about their healthcare. Mann Center

The Mann Center’s season is off to a great start. The Philadelphia Orchestra returned to the Mann Center to perform Tchaikovsky pieces complete with a firework show finale. Check out the highlights from NBC 10.

Downstage @ the Mann also returned with a performance from Chill Moody and Low Cut Connie in a tribute to the 50th anniversary of hip hop. Watch the coverage by CBS 3.
