Give us a little bit of background about yourself!
I’m Danny Rovi, a rising junior at Syracuse University. I’m currently pursuing a double major in public relations and marketing management at our Newhouse and Whitman schools. I’m from Montgomery County and attended La Salle College High School in Wyndmoor.
Describe yourself in three words.
Driven, conscientious and kindhearted.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
The starting shooting guard for the Philadelphia 76ers. (Technically, I still have a chance.)
What’s something few people knew about you, but you wish they did?
I have always had a passion for on-air storytelling in addition to PR. In high school, I was the voice of our football and basketball teams for three years, and I was awarded a few Mid-Atlantic EMMYs throughout that experience!
If you could give a piece of advice to your high school/younger self, what would it be?
Keep doing your thing. Continue to always be kind and respectful to others and grateful for your opportunities, and do your best to live every day with a smile on your face.
