We connected with our latest cohort of D+P interns for a quick Q&A session. Read on below to learn more about Jack, our summer content creation intern!
Give us a little bit of background about yourself!
Hello, my name is Jack Larson! I was born and raised in Manchester, Connecticut, and moved to Philadelphia to attend Temple University. I recently graduated with a degree in advertising and a minor in art. During my free time, I love photography, going to the gym and jogging throughout Philly.
Describe yourself in three words.
Creative, instinctive and candid.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
I wanted to be a director for broadcast news. My dad was the broadcast journalism teacher at my high school, and I always took an interest in videography and reporting because of him. Ever since, I’ve always known that I would work in media.
What’s something few people knew about you, but you wish they did?
I am very outdoorsy. Growing up, my parents took my brother and me on camping trips with our trailer, and we would spend the entire time playing outside. I am always down for a hike or pitching a tent up in the middle of nowhere.
If you could give a piece of advice to your high school/younger self, what would it be?
I would tell younger Jack to be patient and embrace the present moments.
