Give us a little bit of background about yourself!
I am a senior at Syracuse University, and I grew up in Morristown, New Jersey. I moved around a few times but stayed within the town, and I absolutely love where I am from. I love going into New York City and to the Jersey shore, as well as listening to music and going on walks.
Describe yourself in three words.
Positive, outgoing and reliable.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
When I was growing up, I had dreams of being an interior designer. I loved watching HGTV and was always intrigued by decorations of that sort.
What’s something few people knew about you, but you wish they did?
I am a very good planner and very good with directions. For example, when I studied abroad this past semester, my friends and I took frequent weekend trips to new countries. I was always the one to plan our activities, map out where we went and navigate the transportation in each country. I trusted myself more than I should have in these foreign places, but in the end, we always reached our destination!
If you could give a piece of advice to your high school/younger self, what would it be?
If I could give one piece of advice to my high school self, it would be, “don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone and take more risks.” I would learn from my mistakes and that it’s okay to take risks. I was always very shy and broke out of my shell in college, but sometimes I wish I had done it earlier.
