By Alyssa Ellington

From national headlines to impactful local broadcast segments to content that created impact, see how D+P’s work in media relations and content creation elevated our clients’ missions, amplified their voices, and connected their work to timely, broader conversations.

Courtmaker

D+P generated national attention for Courtmaker, a new PBS documentary exploring the legacy of Chief Justice John Marshall and how he helped transform the Supreme Court into a coequal branch of government, by securing coverage in The Wall Street Journal. The feature tied the film’s themes to timely discussions surrounding the modern Supreme Court and helped underscore the documentary’s continued relevance for contemporary audiences. D+P also secured a screening of the documentary at the Virginia Museum of History and Culture with a Q&A discussion featuring panelists from the film.

Faces of Hope Video Series

Good in our region has many faces. It’s people who provide safe spaces for youth, collect donations for those in need, parents who advocate for inclusive education and so much more. The D+P team created and produced the “Faces of Hope” video and written profile series for CatholicPhilly.com, which highlights the work of those who make the Catholic Church of Philadelphia the greatest force for good in the region. Since its inception in April 2025, 18 video profiles have amassed nearly 350,000 views on social media platforms and more than 33,000 visits to the website. Watch the latest Faces of Hope feature posted in December here.

The Circuit Trails

The Circuit Trails, a network of multi-use trails in Greater Philadelphia and southern New Jersey, recently reached a major milestone of 500 miles of trails by 2025. D+P helped shine a spotlight by planning and executing a celebration at Cherry Street Pier that brought together more than 200 trail users, volunteers, partners, and funders.

The event highlighted the progress the network has made towards building a more connected region – one that provides community members with safe, accessible spaces for recreation, transportation, and everyday enjoyment. Through targeted media outreach, the celebration secured broadcast coverage from multiple local outlets, including FOX 29, 6ABC, PHL 17, and NBC10, amplifying the milestone and reinforcing the importance of continued investment in expanding trail access throughout the region. Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School

Since the beginning of the 2025-2026 school year, Cristo Rey Philadelphia High School seniors and officers from the 39th Police District worked together to paint a new mural for the district’s entryway – a project designed to spark conversation, creativity, and connection between students and officers. On Dec. 4, CBS 3, 6 ABC, NBC 10 and FOX 29 captured students and officers unveiling the expansive mural, featuring design elements from the students’ creative brainstorms. Hear from Cristo Rey Philadelphia senior Kyle and Philadelphia Police Officer Ray Sutton about what this mural means to them on CBS 3.

The Greater Philadelphia Salvation Army

During the 2025 holiday season, The Salvation Army in Greater Philadelphia partnered with CBS Philadelphia for its annual Joy of Sharing Toy Drive, one of the region’s longest-running television public service campaigns. Working closely with reporter Wakisha Bailey, the campaign generated a series of feature stories highlighting the community impact behind the drive. Coverage included personal reflections from Divisional Commander Lt. Col. Barbara George, volunteer perspectives from advisory board member Judy Torres Lynch, and frontline insights from Roxborough Corps leadership spotlighting bell ringer recruitment and first-time volunteer Arber Bojka. Additional in-studio interviews with Area Commanders, Captains Benjamin and Felicia Lyle, reinforced the campaign’s impact on families across the region, helping sustain momentum throughout the final week before Christmas.

The National Shrine of Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton

From Sept. 12 through 14, 2025, the Shrine marked the 50th anniversary of the canonization of the first native-born saint in the United States, Elizabeth Ann Seton, with a celebration featuring family-friendly programming and special events that attracted more than 3,000 visitors. Among the highlights was the debut of the first-of-its-kind Saints on Their Way Village, which brought together representatives from more than 20 U.S. sainthood causes to share their missions and encourage support for future canonizations. The anniversary was covered by local secular media, local Catholic media, and national Catholic outlets

The Tun Legacy Foundation

On Nov. 10, 2025, the United States Marine Corps celebrated its 250th birthday. The Tun Legacy Foundation, a nonprofit committed to rebuilding the historic Tun in Philadelphia, marked this milestone by hosting a five-day series of events, including ceremonies, a dinner cruise, a midnight breakfast, a block party, two birthday balls, and more, drawing thousands of attendees to celebrate in Philadelphia.

In just one weekend, D+P secured media coverage from over 50 outlets, including The American Legion and local stations, reaching more than 58 million people. Additionally, the Tun®’s social media followings collectively grew by more than 4,000 followers during the weekend. Watch the 6ABC clip to see what the weekend had in store.

Saint John’s Hospice

Saint John’s Hospice continues to receive media attention for its meaningful work supporting individuals experiencing homelessness in Philadelphia. D+P secured coverage from NBC 10 highlighting recent events, including the annual Thanksgiving meal with Knights of Columbus and the Boot Up Philly program. Complementing the broadcast coverage, there was a website recap published for Boot Up Philly. These stories emphasized the organization’s long-standing commitment to compassion, community, and essential care, showcasing the volunteers, staff, and donors who make these impactful programs possible.

Coverage helped raise awareness of Saint John’s Hospice’s services, connect with the local community, and reinforce the importance of ongoing support for individuals facing housing insecurity.
