We connected with our latest cohort of D+P interns for a quick Q&A session. Read on below to learn more about Grace, one of our Spring Public Relations Interns!
Give us a little bit of background about yourself!
Hi! My name is Grace Frigerio, and I am a senior at Franklin and Marshall College in Lancaster,
Pennsylvania. I am studying psychology and sociology and have an interest in public relations. In the
summer of 2023, I interned at the Union League of Philadelphia. In my time at the
Union League, I learned the importance of multitasking, customer service, communication and
managing conflict.
Describe yourself in three words.
If I were to describe myself in three words, I would say hardworking, organized and kind.
What did you want to be when you were growing up?
When I was younger, I wanted to be a mailman because I thought it would be fun to see lots of
different people every day. While I no longer see myself pursuing a career as a mail carrier, I do
enjoy working with and meeting new people every day.
What’s something few people knew about you, but you wish they did?
I am an avid runner and ran my first half marathon this fall in Richmond, Virginia. I am hoping
to run my next half marathon in Philadelphia this spring. A dream of mine is running a
marathon!
If you could give a piece of advice to your high school/younger self, what would it be?
I would tell myself that while growth is intimidating, it is important to be open to new
experiences and always be willing to try new things with an open mind.
