Devine + Partners (D+P), a Philadelphia public relations firm, is accepting applications for content creation interns to join our fast-paced team. Through this program, interns will gain experience in a hands-on environment working directly with our team of skilled professionals. Because we are a nimble agency, we often rely heavily on our interns to help our staff complete a variety of essential client projects.
Located in Center City, Philadelphia, D+P is a leading, independent communications firm specializing in research-based public relations, content creation, issues management, digital communications, message development and social media. Our client portfolio is diverse and dynamic, filled with some of the best-known brands in the mid-Atlantic region, from travel/tourism and hospitality to corporate and financial, healthcare, non-profit, consumer goods, and a growing sustainability/environmental practice. During the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters, we engage a team of interns who work on a part-time, rotating basis as outlined below. Please note this is subject to change.
-Monday, Wednesday and every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
-Tuesday, Thursday and every Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Please note: The Devine + Partners team is working a hybrid schedule. This internship will include in-person and virtual components.
The required working hours are structured so that students are able to accommodate classes, other jobs and academic activities. This is a paid internship. To support team building, on Thursdays, the company shares a group lunch for the entire staff, allowing us to share the experiences of our week.
Qualifications:
Applicants must be current college juniors or seniors pursuing a degree in public relations, film, digital media, content creation, communications, journalism, marketing or other relevant business fields. Recent college graduates will also be considered. Applicants should have skills in video filming and editing within and outside of social media applications. Graphic design skills are a plus.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating video content for D+P and clients (see examples on our video content creation page)
- Developing graphics for social media and web
- Crafting social posts for D+P and client social media pages
- Designing and editing newsletters for D+P and clients
- Monitoring media outlets for client mentions
- Staffing events to assist in video content creation
- Drafting blogs and other written materials
- Other duties, as assigned
