Since our founding, D+P has advised numerous colleges and universities, often focusing on strategic constituent communication (faculty, staff, students, parents and alumni), issues management, reputation management and fundraising communications. A sampling of institutions supported includes Bryn Mawr College, Drexel University, Haverford College, Jefferson University and The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Science and Art.

The Philadelphia region is known for its vibrant arts and culture community, and D+P has been an active partner, supporting this sector for more than 20 years. We help build audiences for concerts and awareness of community initiatives for the Mann Center for the Performing Arts; grow awareness for The Tun, a storied, historical inn being built again for a new era; and have secured national film distribution for the documentary “Free Exercise: America’s Story of Religious Liberty.”

Philanthropy

Our work for philanthropic organizations, including the Connelly Foundation and William Penn Foundation, centers on producing content and messaging that amplifies priority funding areas and the work of grantees.

Non-Profits

Non-profit organizations including faith-based organizations, which lift up and enrich the Philadelphia region and the U.S., also lean on D+P for advice and counsel to help grow awareness for their services, expand fundraising efforts or rally volunteers. For The Salvation Army, we manage all media relations, owned and shared content for its Eastern Pennsylvania and Delaware division. For The Circuit Trails network, we help build awareness and drive visitors to hundreds of miles of regional trails while supporting advocacy efforts to support the development of more trail miles. Other non-profit organizations among our clients are MANNA, Reach Cyber Charter School, Society of Saint Vincent de Paul USA and VisionLink.

Economic Development

Helping to grow the regional economy is another key focus for D+P. In our work for the Chamber of Commerce of Greater Philadelphia, we helped to launch its cell and gene therapy initiative to attract more companies to locate here. We also launched an award-nominated video series called “Discovery Starts with Me” to showcase the dynamic talent market in the region. Most recently, we are working with the Receiver for the City of Chester to raise awareness about development opportunities there.
